The Structure of the 6 month course;

 1-    Measurements, ease, common bodice adjustments

2-    Prep pattern & toile Bodice, adjust if necessary.

3-    Sleeve toile & common adjustments.

4-    Toile bodice & sleeve together and adjust if required.

5-    How to compare your block to ready-made patterns. Skirt toile, fit & creation of dress block.

6-    Trouser block toile & fit. Comparing to ready-made patterns. Making your own design adaptions

Meet our tutors;

Katie - founder of 'Before You Stitch' will be providing the online tutorials, using her extensive knowledge and experience, Katie has put together a course that will take you through 6 months of online tutorials and virtual support.  It is practically like having your own private tutor!

" Hello… a little introduction to me. My name is Katie and I live in the little town called Mirfield in West Yorkshire. I have a BA Honors Degree from Leeds Art University in Fashion Design. Went on to work as a Military Tailor up until my first child made me a mummy. I now currently work as a technician at Bradford College which has nurtured my love for helping students with their sewing and pattern cutting problems."

Donna - founder of SIZE:me sewing patterns and tutor to our Learn to Sew subscription has designed the blocks that you will be using throughout the course.  Donna will also be on hand to assist with questions and offer support within the various channels that we will be hosting.

Terms and Conditions;

Please note - the monthly cost of the subscription is £45.  The first payment is a pre sale for the following month (month 1).  The first payment of £45 to be taken from your bank will be at the start of 'month 2'.

All digital content will be emailed to you on the 5th of each month (or following Monday if 5th falls on the weekend).

If you have purchased this subscription outside of a promotional offer and you wish to cancel, please write to us at hello@allsettosew.com giving 30 days notice and we will cancel for you.

If you have purchased this subscription on a promotional offer you must complete 3 full paying months before you can cancel.
